During pregnancy and postpartum are important times for you to find eace and inner calm in order to be able to listen to your inner wisdom.
There is so much noise in the world as soon as you mention you are pregnant – so many people wanting to offer you advise or tell you their stories (good and bad) there is lots of information and seeming rules to follow at the midwife visists. It can feel overwelming and at times it can feel like you are being pushed down a path you do not want to go.
Giving yourself time to simply be, to connect to your baby, to find that silence and peace where you can find the answers to how exactly ou want to do this. Maybe you are faced with more difficult decisions and you’re craving that space to just step away from it all for a while.
A sound bath, drum or a closing the bones are the places you can find this.
I have qualifications and training in Antenatal education, breastfeeding support, babywearing, baby massage and yoga and postpartum recovery (including pelvic floor and diastasis recti rehab). Personall I’v experienced a ‘failed’ home birth, consultant led birth and freebirth, as well as a miscarriage. I have experience with a baby with high needs and a life limiting condition and many of the practices I gained qualifications and experience in have helped me through both difficult times and creating happy memories.
